February 19, 2011 - MovieGuide Award Gifts

Justice Gems is pleased to announce that Justice Gems Jewelry was selected to be featured in the 19th Annual MovieGuide Awards Celebrity Gift bags. The MovieGuide Awards, sometimes referred to as the “Christian Oscars,” honors films that promote high moral values, and serves to encourage filmmakers to bring uplifting and inspiration viewing content to audiences across the world. Justice Gems Jewelry was selected to give as gifts to the women Celebrity Award Presenters at the Faith & Values MovieGuide Awards held at the Universal City Hilton on Friday February 18, 2011. The pearl necklaces selected are hand made by women who have been rescued out of prostitution & sex-trafficking in China, and provide an alternative income for them to start a new life. Justice Gems is pleased to be working with organizations around the world that are making a difference!

January 24, 2011 - Justice Gems Jewelry Donated for Oasis of Hollywood Fundraiser

Founder Diane Wigstone confirmed that Justice Gems Jewelry donated a selection of Justice Gems Jewelry to raise money for the Oasis of Hollywood at a Silent Auction fund raiser held in November 2010 in Hollywood, California. Oasis is led by Judy & Ron Radacy. The Oasis is a community-based non-profit organization reaching out to at-risk children and teens, ages 5 to 21, building mentoring relationships in Hollywood, California. The jewelry donation was made to assist their fund raising effort to continue their work as a “Haven of Hope for Kids in Hollywood”. The Oasis reports that the fund raiser was a big success & wanted to pass on their thanks to all who participated.

April 22, 2010 - Justice Gems Jewelry Donated for Orphanage Fundraiser

Founder Diane Wigstone confirmed that Justice Gems Jewelry donated a selection of Justice Gems Jewelry to raise money for the International Children’s Aid Network (ICAN) at a fund raising dinner held April 16, 2010 in California. ICAN was founded by Barbara & Bill Peters in 2004 to respond to the needs of children orphaned by HIV-AIDS in South Africa. ICAN is committed to building Children’s Villages around the world and has completed the first Children’s Village in Soweto, South Africa. The jewelry donation was made to assist their fund raising effort to finish the building for their most recent Children’s Village.
